Venezia's sunsets and water, so special, I'd never forget
The stunning white architecture against the clear blue sky inspires me
Tourists and salesmen filled the area. I enjoyed exploring the back alleyways of the city and attempting to communicate with locals.
Busy, busy, busy. Getting lost in Venice was the best part for me, why be guided all the time to the touristic spots? EXPLORE!
Based on my first impression of Venice, I made my version of a Venetian Flag. I took many pictures of the tour guides holding up boards and other random objects to lead their crowd of tourists through Venice. The busy stream of people and popping objects are represented.
Venice is the most colourful city I've visited. I admired the colourful houses and people. A full colour palette could be made from the buildings we saw.

QUARTER 2
Manifesto on time

After researching time, watching documentaries and brainstorming ideas on time, my partner (Stephanie) and I were walking through the streets after school and realised that there were lots of gum on the street, as usual. We built on the idea that each gum we all see on the streets (anywhere) represents a particular time frame. HOW LONG HAS THAT PIECE OF GUM BEEN THERE? EACH ONE IS DIFFERENT, different times are represented by each separate gum. Therefore, came the title for our reminding poster, TIME IS INDIVIDUAL.

Furthermore, each person takes a different time to do similar daily things, our daily routines are individual and so we took a simple action as chewing gum since we all take a different time to chew until we are satisfied.
